Classical Foil Open Tournament
The AHF, in conjunction with Palm Beach Classical Fencing, is pleased to host our annual classical foil tournament in Florida, to be held on Saturday, March 10th, 2007.
This is the perfect opportunity for the classical fencing community to celebrate the art, science, and spirit of classical fencing, meet other fencers from around the country, and test their skills in what is sure to be an exciting event.
This event is open to all fencers, no matter what their background, who would like to experience the classical fencing tradition first-hand. Please be sure to fully read the rules, which include all equipment standards. Rules will be strictly enforced.
Schedule
9:00 - 9:30: registration and weapons/equipment inspection
9:30 - 1:00: first half of tournament
1:00 - 2:00: break for lunch
2:00 - 5:00: second half of tournament
Registration
Pre-registration: $20.00 for AHF members, $25.00 for non-members.
On-site registration: $25.00 for AHF members, $30.00 for non-members.
Pre-registration must be postmarked by February 26th, 2007. Registration will also be accepted at the door.
Spectators are welcome free of charge.
No video taping or flash photography of the tournament will be permitted.

West Jupiter Recreation Center (see map) is located at 6401 Indiantown Rd in Jupiter, on the north east corner of Indiantown Rd and Central Blvd.
From I-95 or the Turnpike, exit at Indiantown Rd / Rte 706 (I-95 exit #87 or Turnpike exit #116) and head east. After approximately 1/4 mile turn left (north) at Central Blvd and make your first right into the parking lot. The building will be on your left.

The closest airport is Palm Beach International Airport (PBI), located in West Palm Beach, approximately 10 miles south of Jupiter. March is still tourist season so book your tickets early to ensure prices and availability!
