Dear Membership,

As the end of the first year of the life of the AHF draws nigh, I would like to update you on the quest to obtain insurance coverage for the association. We have been in negotiations with a broker out of Wyoming for the past five months, and are working on a comprehensive plan to include not only international liability and medical coverage, but coverage for equipment and practice space at a very low cost.

There have been some delays as the company we are working with is in the midst of arranging a new contract with their underwriter. As things currently stand, we hope to have the AHF plan in place by the middle of July, 2000. Details will be posted on the AHF website as they become available, and a special mailing will go out to inform you when the policy is effective. Please feel free to direct any questions you may have to me, and I shall answer them as best I may.
